I have been speaking about my personal and professional experiences of autism for a number of years to care support workers, families and support groups. My varied experience enables me to deliver bespoke speeches targeted towards individual needs of prospective client groups.
In these uncertain times due to COVID 19, I am able to deliver training via Zoom to enable care staff , families and community organisations to meet their statutory training requirements through remote learning.
In addition to delivering autism training, I have experience in delivering training on all 15 standards of the Care Certificate, plus Acquired Brain Injury and Epilepsy . I am also a trained person centred needs facilitator and autism needs assessor. I am also an external training provider with Neurodiversity Training International and the National Autistic Society.
I have written articles in professional journals and am a regular contributor to Social Care Today magazine . I am an active campaigner for parents rights against institutionalised parent carer blame and social justice for the neurodivergent community. I am able to offer support and signposting to specialist agencies for which a small gratuity would be most appreciated. I am currently actively campaigning for better rights for parents of disabled children.
